VOTE FOR IT

Make your vote count!

Who can vote?

Anyone who is currently enrolled at the IT University of Copenhagen, has a valid student ID and wants to have a say in decision making, can vote.

When and where?

29th and 30th of November in between 10:00 and 14:00 the election will be held as a polling place ballot with polling tables, which will be set up in Atrium. We will make sure you do not miss it.

Who are the candidates?

A list will be updated in this sub-page as soon as the RUN FOR IT Campaign is over

Digital voting

Last semester, the Student Council started working on convincing ITU to let students vote digitally rather than physically. We’ve made significant progress in this regard, and been told that they would like to do a test run for the 2018 election, using Helios Voting.

The final and official candidate lists have now been published! Please note that only the following elections are contested this year:

  1. TAP for Board of Directors (By-Election) –> Students cannot vote for this one
  2. Students for Digital Communication
  3. Students for SAT Computer Science

For the remaining electoral bodies, there are no more candidates than seats, and the candidates are elected automatically in a prioritised manner. Therefore, the Games and Business students are not able to participate in the voting as they already have their representatives elected automatically.

You can check out the full list by logging in with your ITU credentials here. Join our Info Breakfast on the 24th of November to get updated and get guidance through the process of election with specific focus on the voting. Simply click on the button and check our Facebook events.
