SAT Business
Marie Lundager Sørensen
GBI
My name is Marie, and I am a 3rd semester GBI student. I am running for SAP Business because I want to strengthen the technical and humanistic subjects at GBI. I want to ensure that students’ thoughts and involvement are prioritized more. Furthermore, I want a stronger technical profile, so we are prepared for assisting implementation of various IT projects after life at ITU. I think GBI is a great education with a unique profile, but it needs some refinement. I am already an active member of ITU being very active in ClimbIT. I have contacts across different programs and think we should not be hesitant to learn from each other.

DIM
I am running for the Business IT subject area team because I enjoy working with the local problems that are happening on the local study level and finding local solutions for local problems
Nanna Bøhm Andersen
DIM
Hi! My name is Nanna. I started GBI in 2020 and continued on the DIM programme, where I am currently enrolled on the 1. Semester. I believe I would be a valuable member of the Subject Area Team because of my experience with both DIM and GBI, as well as my desire to improve both programs. While I have enjoyed studying at ITU, I’ve questioned certain courses and their structure at times. I want to contribute to making the programs even better and believe I can make a difference. I regularly talk to many different DIM students, including both those coming from outside of ITU as well as those with a GBI background, and feel I can effectively bring their perspectives forward.
Magnus Velling Rasmussen
GBI
Greetings! My name is Magnus. I am a 5th Semester GBI student. I am that guy that have always known facts about every movie, and every actor's name and story.🍿 I am also a guy that will text my friends regardless of the time of day the newest Neo Disco Funk Punk Art Rock tunes.🎷But most importantly right now, I am a person who cares about teaching, and the importance of interplay between students, and course-responsible. And for this reason, I want to run for one of the positions of SAT Business. As a previous Associate Teacher at public schools during my gap years, I’ve witnessed first-hand how teaching can be done successfully, but also how mistakes can make it fall apart. I feel like we’ve all had a lecture in which things just doesn’t work and your concentration on the subject at hand just flies away. I believe that no matter the subject however, the way the teaching is handled determines the interest of the students in the classroom. I find this especially relevant in my study programme of GBI, as its fairly young age have unfortunately led to times of teaching, where the lack of student participation is apparent. I find this a shame as GBI is an important study programme, helping students to navigate the complex digitalised modern world we live in, both in the micro-scale with the impact social media has had on our individualisation, and the macro-scale of how big tech companies continues to impact the governance of countries (one being fairly close to a certain newly appointed president). As such by being part og SAT Business I can represent the students of GBI, be the mediator between them and teachers, letting them know what intrigues us, which teaching methods has worked tremendously and which hasn’t, and ultimately attempt to find the best way to learn, so we all can achieve knowledge that will greatly benefit us in the future. 🌍 Thanks for reading!
